Medas Albino is a Kolkata-based manufacturer specializing in Ayurvedic digestive and herbal food products. Operating under the umbrella of the DB Group, a company with a legacy dating back to 1953, Medas Albino comprises two main divisions:
Medas Pharmaceuticals (established in 2006): Focuses on Ayurvedic digestive products such as Hajmi Pachak Tablet, Aam Pachak Tablet, Imli Pachak Tablet, Jal Jeera Pachak, Ajwain Pachak, and Gigoz Energy Drink Powder (Orange flavor).
Medas Food Products (established in 2015): Produces items like Albino Ajwain Pachak and Amla Pachak in various packaging formats.
Both divisions operate under the brand name ALBINO® and are ISO 9001:2015 certified, ensuring adherence to quality management standards.
The parent company, DB Group, has a rich history in manufacturing, starting with scented chewing tobacco under the trade name DAS BROTHERS® in 1953. Over the years, they expanded into various sectors, including Ayurvedic pharmaceuticals and food products, demonstrating a commitment to quality and innovation in their offerings.
